Behavior changes and how they can affect your everyday life...



Three Important Changes You Need to Make In Your Behavior In Order to Change for the Better:



1. The first behavior change is one you’ve definitely heard before, and it’s something people tend to say on many occasions. You need to start looking at the glass as half full instead of half empty on a day-to-day basis.  Changing your mindset in a positive way is a very crucial step when trying to change your behavior and actions in many situations. In order to maintain a positive mindset from day to day, you have to think positively and predict ONLY the best. After you have a terrible day, it’s important to make a gratitude list with every single thing that you are thankful for in your life. You’ll be surprised at how many things there are, and  you will feel better. Always, always, always remember to count your blessings and don’t think about the negatives in life. Focus on the positives and what you have going for you.

2. Do not look too far into the future.Often times, we get so caught up in all of the anxiety and worry that comes with the uncertainty of the future, that we completely forget to exist in the present. It’s so important to just enjoy life as it comes, rather than stress too much about what you think is going to happen, but most likely never will. No matter how much you worry about something, or how much time you spend dwelling on the past, it’s not going to have any effect on the future. Living in the present, and enjoying life thoroughly every single day, is one of the key puzzle pieces when it comes to being happy and living a  fulfilled life.

3. Set goals for yourself that will benefit your physical and mental health. It’s always nice to have something to work for, and it’s even better when that something will benefit you in the future. Setting and accomplishing goals gives us a sense of purpose in life. Setting a goal could mean  going on a walk for 30 minutes each day, or taking 30 minutes out of your day to block out the world and get lost in a really good book. Not only are accomplishing goals in life fun, but goals also teach you a lot about yourself and help shape you into the person that you will eventually become.

These are my 3 short and sweet pieces of advice when trying to change your behavior in a HEALTHY and POSITIVE way. These steps are very crucial in maintaining positive behavior change. If you change behaviors , you will probably feel a huge difference in how you think and feel mentally and physically.
