Today we will remember Martin Luther King Jr.
Martin Luther King Jr stated, " Life's most persistent question is: What are you doing for others?".

There's hundreds of volunteering events happening all over the country on Monday. 
The Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is a way to transform Dr. King’s life and teachings into community service that helps empower and strengthen local communities.

Duluth has a variety of events happening today including:

MLK Day Community Breakfast

Gather at 10:45 am January 18th 
Washington Center, Corner of Fourth St and Lake Ave.
March to the DECC. Dress for cold weather.

11:45 am January 18th

Labor Movie Night
"At the River I Stand" (1993).
7 pm January 18th
Wellstone Labor Hall
2002 London Rd.
Hour long documentary on Dr. King's connection with labor rights. Light snacks and a discussion to follow the film.
