The Don'ts Of Sitting

The Don’ts of Sitting

Next to breathing, sitting seems to be the simplest thing a person can do in life. However, just because it’s easy, it doesn't mean that all of us are actually doing it well. These days, people who work desk jobs are often sitting for long periods of time leaving them vulnerable to poor sitting posture. As a result, bad posture can hinder breathing and blood circulation and contribute to injuries affecting people's ability to move. The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health offers these “don’ts” of sitting so that you can avoid chronic pain or injury.
