If you drink...
Mix things up during the week and find other fun things to do.
Before going out, set a reasonable limit on the number of drinks you’ll have.
Set a limit of 1 drink per hour—or less.
Make sure you eat before (and while) you drink.
Alternate non-alcoholic beverages with alcoholic drinks.
Plan ahead and choose a designated driver (who agrees not to drink).
When you go out, do not get separated from your friends.
Don’t hesitate to get help if someone has had too much to drink. Call 911. There should be an Urgent Care Center nearby.
Drink plenty of (non-alcoholic) beverages during the day. Drinking and sitting out in the sun can make you dehydrated -- not a pretty sight.
Drugs can easily be slipped into your drink. Make sure you’ve seen your drink being poured, and do not leave your drink unattended.
